The site content therefore had to be structured to satisfy two requirements. Firstly, it had to address the key benefits that the WORKiT ONLINE system provides and secondly, it had to describe the complete system in a systematic way, including descriptions of each major component.
So the left navigation, as well as the home page graphics, lead us to the three main 'benefits' as well as to the overview of the system.
Where appropriate on the inner pages, there are forms to capture our visitor's inquiries.
One of the major challenges of this site is to clearly communicate the nature of the product and the benefits it brings. It is a rather intangible product, and it is new, so few people can readily imagine the positive impact it can have on how they work.
To address this challenge, we have so far done two things. We have offered a free trial of one of the components of the system to minimise the risk to potential purchasers. Secondly we have embedded a YouTube video on the website that outlines how the complimentary trial component may be used.
To get this website an immediate profile in internet searches, we have established a Google Adwords campaign. This brings a steady stream of visitors to the website. In time we will implement a search engine optimisation strategy to bring traffic to the site.
We are also currently implementing an email marketing campaign that has introduced WORKiT ONLINE to the clients and contacts of the consultants who have developed this software.
