P&O Maritime Services has operated in the maritime industry since the 1960’s and provides specialist maritime services solutions to both government and industry globally.

The provision of these services is facilitated through P&O Maritime Services’ ownership, modification/construction, operation and management of a fleet of specialised vessels for its customers’ long term requirements.

P&O Maritime Services has operations in Australia, Papua New Guinea, Ireland, United Kingdom, Dubai (United Arab Emirates), South America and Singapore, with representation in South Africa.   

Features

The company required a fresh look for their web site, and they wanted to ensure there was comprehensive company information available on the site.

Additionally they wished to have access to an intranet (secure zone) from which company employees would be able to access a range of documents, and where internal company information could be published and other services provided. Outcomes The company now uses the website dynamically, making frequent updates to ensure the content is both current and comprehensive. The company particularly values the control they have over the site content.  They are able to edit text and image content, to add, remove and hide web pages and to create the associated navigation.

In the secure zone, they have created an extensive collection of downloadable documents, and being a large and specialised company, they regularly post employment opportunities on the site.

For this project, the graphic design of the site was created by P & O Maritime Services’ preferred design company.  While Net Smart Marketing has a strong design capability, we are happy to work with our clients’ designers if that is their preference.
